Just like the stones from the Japanese river it was named after, this is an object to relax the senses, a quiet and intimate space to keep al the necessary to take care of ourselves. Omono is the enamelled ceramic object case designed by Santa Design Studio for De Vecchi Milano 1935’s new collection and presented for the first time during the 2013 Milan Furniture Fair. It consists of three differently sized containers placed one upon the other, so that one becomes the top for the one underneath. The two largest bodies are containers while the third platinum enamelled one lodges a small candle whose flame reflects on the organic surfaces. Omono is thought for the bathroom and for personal care, but it can perfectly integrate in any other domestic environment, mutating its appearance if put in use or not.
